D&D Direct has wrapped its showcase on the coming D&D 2024 books. If you have both a Master Tier on D&D Beyond and pre-ordered digital editions, your access to the Player’s Handbook will begin on September 3rd.
The general release of the D&D 2024 Player’s Handbook is September 17th from local gaming stores and giants like Amazon. You must use a smaller retailer for the 2024 not-edition variant cover. While Wizards of the Coast has said there are delays outside the States, UK retailers like Forbidden Planet and Zatu still list the 17th. It’s good that WotC continues to assist FLGS like this.
Jess Lanzillo, Head of D&D Product and Franchise, told the press;
“D&D isn’t just a game – it’s this amazing community that’s all about bringing fantasy and wonder to life, whether that’s in living rooms, backyards, or wherever folks want to play. We’re super excited to be celebrating D&D’s big anniversary with the release of the new Player’s Handbook! Together with the community, we’ve built this new Player’s Handbook with a focus on what makes D&D so cool — bringing people together through the shared experience of adventure.”
