Terra Mortis, a tabletop RPG in a shattered cyberpunk world, is coming to Gamefound! The campaign offers a hardcover book, battle map book, GM screen and miniature sets.
Lion Banner Games’ campaign launches in about a week, and Geek Native has two exclusive pieces of art to show. You can find more info on the Gamefound site.
Terra Mortis will use the Year Zero Engine, and the characters must battle mutant gangs and salvage from the ruins of a fallen world to survive. Augmented humans, mutants, and sentient beings also navigate the harsh reality of the Fringes, a desolate landscape left in the wake of a broken world.
The core 270-page hardcover will have both rules and lore.
- Year Zero Engine: Enhanced with new mechanics for augmentations, road battles, and tactical combat.
- Campaign: Landmark Quests shape factions’ fate and the Fringes’ future, making your choices matter.
- Unique Heroes: 16 Archetypes and Backgrounds to create a character ready to take on the challenges ahead.
- Augmentations Mechanic: Players can use cybernetic implants and neural interfaces to customise their heroes.
- Vehicular Combat: Mobile Base and Road Warrior rules bring high-octane action to the wasteland.
- The Fringes: World lore, factions, gangs, and the forces shaping this damaged world.

The gallery includes images of the injection mold miniatures, which, along with battle maps, a card deck, a GM screen, and a Bestiary, are part of the campaign.
Terra Mortis explores where the fusion of man and machine has blurred the lines of humanity, raising questions about where the human ends and the artificial begins. This creates a stark division between those who embrace this augmented future and those who yearn to return to a purer, flesh-and-blood existence. As players navigate this morally complex world, they’ll grapple with their identity and envision their future.
In the unforgiving Fringes, survival is paramount. Players must scavenge relentlessly for scraps and resources, repurposing them into the tools, weapons, and vehicles needed to navigate this harsh reality. The scarcity of resources forces brutal choices, where one’s survival often comes at the cost of another’s. In this desolate landscape, the game of life is a zero-sum equation, and this takes Terra Mortis back to moral complexity.
This marks Lion Banner Games’ 5th crowdfunding project. The publisher has successfully delivered previous campaigns, including Tomb of the Colossus Gods, Massive Battlemaps, and HellWatch RPG.
