SkeletonKey Games has a successfully funded Kickstarter for some hand-finished prop scrolls, with about a week to go. You can get neat scroll props on Etsy, but this campaign is all about 5e’s top-level spells.

Arcane Scrollworks: Ninth Level Spells brings iconic and powerful spells from fantasy gaming to life as meticulously crafted props. The idea behind the campaign is that you can enhance your RPG or LARP experience by incorporating these scrolls into your character’s inventory, loot from NPCs, treasure hoards, or gifting them to spellcasters.
The scrolls are pretty and dramatic enough that SkeletonKey Games suggests that you can even use them to add a touch of magic to your game room decor.
Each scroll in this collection is a unique creation by artist and SkeletonKey Games founder Ed Bourelle, who designs, illustrates, and hand-finishes every piece. Printed on acid-free stock, the artist then weathered and aged the scrolls, adding depth and character. Using hand-cut stamps and archival-quality acrylic paint, each scroll is meticulously detailed. The scrolls measure approximately 6.5 to 7 inches wide and 10.5 to 11 inches tall, with slight variations in size depending on the specific design.
Funding this campaign will allow us to continue this series with six finely crafted scrolls representing 9th level arcane spells. Three of the six scrolls will be designed during the campaign once backers have picked which spells they would like added to the set. This campaign also introduces a trio of Power Word scrolls ranging from 7th to 9th level. Once funded, backers will be able to unlock stretch-goals as the funding level increases.
Backers at $15 will receive one 9th Level scroll of their choice as a thank you, but shipping must be paid.
Then, three scrolls are the reward at the $42 tier, representing some economies of scale. However, shipping still needs to be paid.
All six core rules 9th level scrolls are unlocked at $79 and there’s either a regular version of Meteor Swarm and Wish or an exclusive uncut version.
Backers at $115 get all six core spells, three Power World scrolls and the Meteor Swarm/Wish choice.
Unusually for a Kickstarter, the top tier is the most popular with backers, and at $140, those six core 9th-level spells, three Power Words, the exclusive uncut scroll, and all the stretch goals are included.
SkeletonKey Games estimate December delivery for the arty magic and the campaign only runs to the 18th of this month.
