Titmouse is an animation studio I know for The Legend of Vox Machina. You have to wonder what working with the Critical Role team was like because Titmouse will try and launch their own TTRPG, Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents, through a BackerKit campaign.
Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents is pitched as a dark comedy, which comes as no surprise based on the name, and as a party game.
In the RPG, players embark on chaotic quests as rebellious adventurers fueled by their vice. The Titmouse game blends satirical absurdity with traditional roleplaying with the promise of an unpredictable experience of laughter and unexpected twists.
Chris Prynoski, President and Founder of Titmouse,
We designed Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents to bring people together in the best possible way, through shared chaos, a few drinks (or more), and laughter. We invite you to open your mind, imbibe, and let the dice be your guide to new realms of absurdity!”
In Drunkards, Druggies, & Delinquents, every victory and challenge plunges players deeper into a world where only the boldest (or most intoxicated) thrive.
Titmouse encourages players to embrace the chaos as their characters take damage and indulge in vice. The studio argues that the game isn’t about winning; it’s about sharing unforgettable moments and laughter with friends, even if the memories get a bit hazy along the way.
I guess we’ll find out whether the moral panic around roleplaying is over.
The campaign launches on October 8th.
