Folks! Last week, Geek Native struggled to work out how well the new D&D book was selling. This week, Wizards of the Coast issued a press release to correct us/tell the world that it’s selling great.
My crown as Mr Mistakeo is unchallenged.
Let’s take a look at the TTRPG news summary of summaries!
- Wildmage Press will try the TTRPG magazine market with Horizons.
- There’s a debate on how the D&D Player’s Handbook is selling.
- The ENNIES are launching a hall of fame.
- Ars Magica is likely to end up as a Creative Commons project.
- The Discworld TTRPG quickstart is out and free.
- Vox Machine is free for a short while on YouTube, and the animator, Titmouse, will launch a TTRPG about booze and drugs.
Thanks to Cannon Otter Studios, it is good news for Geek Native’s patrons or anyone who signs up quickly, as there are free copies of Teenage Oddyssey as gifts.
We’ve also noticed a few new faces in our still-in-soft-launch (predating the lockdown) Discord. Does anyone know why? :)
Lastly, a weird request! If you buy any Tabletop Dominion dice jewellery through this link, can you tell us? Like so many stores, the ethical dice site uses Shopify, and this is us testing affiliate links to product/category pages.
Patron Gift: Teenage Oddyssey RPG.
