Packaging and presentation
Just like my other experiences of Holdems, the packaging is fun and comes with a very good quality box that I’m afraid you won’t get much use out of once you break it open. But, again, being a millennial, I do appreciate a good quality box!
Ice Cream Fall Guy on their lonesome
Here he (or she, or indeed they) is! If you give Ice Cream nothing to hold, this is how they look – in other words, waiting patiently to take something dear to you off your hands. And they’ll conveniently hold it until you need it again.
This little Fall Guy is just 4 inches tall, and officially licensed by Devolver.
It’s got a nice little purple stand, and is a solid lump of plastic cream cream Fall Guy. Sturdy, stable, ready to do your bidding.
Holding an Apple iPhone
It’s no secret that Holdems are designed mainly for holding your smartphones, ear buds and other small tech gadgets. So, of course I had to get some pics of my Fall Guy holding my iPhone 12 Pro. As you can see, it obscures most of them, but hey, they’re doing a good job!
Holding an actual ice cream
I had to do this. My partner, Murdo, luckily had one choc ice left in the freezer, so of course I was going to get my dude to hold it whilst I took a quick pic! Inspired.
Holding some tutti fruitti washi tape
Because it just suits them, okay? Yes, I’m still an artist and I still have many art supplies lurking around the house.
I *will* require someone to hold tape for me on occasion, and I’ve just found my guy.
I think they look pretty sweet regardless of what they’re holding, and this was a fun way for me to test out more possibilities of using Holdems to look after my art supplies AT HOME.
(Because, I’ve still got Michelanglo in the studio, and that’s where he’s going to stay for the time being!)
Overall
The Fall Guys Ice Cream Holdem does exactly what you’d expect it to do – hold your stuff! Much like Michelangelo, you can also use ‘im to take selfies if you really want to (and today, I didn’t want to).
Holdems are fun, dependable, and a great way to brighten up your office. This ice cream tutti fruitti sweetheart is a welcome addition to my home and will add a lovely touch of colour on otherwise cold, dull winter days.
