With this chill in the air, it may already be starting to feel like in the bleak mid-winter, and now we’ve got our first look at Cillian Murphy making his return as Tommy Shelby in the upcoming Peaky Blinders Netflix movie.
Production has now started on the film, and another photo shows Murphy and writer/creator Steven Knight together on the set. I’m personally really excited by this development, and can’t wait to see more.
As for the plot, we’re still in the dark, but interestingly, Knight did mention somewhere down the line that the film would be set during World War II. I absolutely trust Knight to do this one justice; once more, with feeling.
And by order of the Peaky Blinders, the movie will also star Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Barry Keoghan.
