Sink! is a new 5th Edition supplement that brings the exciting world of pirates and tattoos to your D&D games. With nautical subclasses, magic item tattoos, and modular dungeons, Sink offers a treasure trove of content to enhance your seafaring adventures.
The Kickstarter sails on October 17th, but the ship is already full. The team had come looking for $10,000 and, with those two weeks left, have over $225,000 in pledges and thousands of backers. You can see progress on the pitch page.
The promise in SINK! Adventures on the Caldereach Sea is to blend American tattoo styles with swashbuckling pirates. The result, we’re told, is both visual and 5e.
Sam Rusk‘s tattoo designs are the inspiration, and certainly, the art in the Kickstarter story is gorgeous.
The RPG aspect of Sink brings more than 50 magic item tattoos, Soul Link hit dice mechanics and new player options. Those options include;
- Mist Breaker Ranger
- Spellskin Wizard
- Inkkborn
- Sea Gnome
Throughout this book, you will uncover the mysteries of the region while fighting back against the influence of the eldritch, fiendish god, Y’gathul, and his Dark Armada. Fend off the Dread Admiral’s lieutenants from stealing your souls and defeat anyone else in your path to cleanse the Caldereach Sea of these dark forces. Befriend colorful allies, discover powerful magical tattoos, and brave the wrathful tides to chip away at Y’gathul’s power and restore balance to the region.
Backers at $29 get the Sink! digital edition (and a community copy), the player reference cards and digital standees. The engineering of that last one is interesting!
At $49, backers get all those digital goodies and digital presupported STLs and VTT assets.
Then, once we get to $59, the digital assets become deluxe PDFs, STL and VTT resources, the community copy lingers and backers get the standard hardcover of Sink!.
The deluxe hardcover swaps in at $79. However, there’s a legion of optional add-ons to consider across the tiers.
We’re not at the top of the pledge pile either, because at $119 we enter the standard Box Set territory of the Sink! seas. The deluxe Box Set unlocks at $199. It’s the Box Sets that introduce the temporary tattoos to the rewards.
Sink! finally tops out at $2,599 with a sea of options in between.
The deliveries, from Box Sets to PDFs, are all slated for June 2026.
