The BackerKit alert page for Parable Games’ next wave of horror TTRPG content for Shiver, Shiver Classified is open and nearly 1,000 people signed up.
Today, the British publisher revealed two cover designs for the books The Unseen War and Agents of L.A.N.C.E., which join a small gallery of big art that has already been published.
Shiver Classified, a new tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) focused on uncovering and concealing conspiracies, is set to launch this Halloween. This expansion for the Shiver TTRPG delves into the mystery and conspiracy genre, drawing inspiration from popular franchises like The X-Files and XCOM.
Players will step into the shoes of individuals working to keep the world safe from hidden threats and shadowy organizations. The game promises thrilling scenarios where uncovering secrets and maintaining secrecy are equally crucial to success. Shiver Classified offers a horror take on blending investigation, action, and intrigue in a world where conspiracies are reality.
Geek Native reviewed Shiver back when it was new; I liked it a lot. Parable Games have been excellent stewards since then.
Agents of L.A.N.C.E.
The supplement provides character creation options for designing unique field agents, equips them with specialized gear, and presents a variety of mysteries and conspiracies to investigate.
Unseen War
Shiver Classified: Unseen War expands the Shiver TTRPG with a historical focus. The supplement explores the clandestine organization L.A.N.C.E.’s activities throughout history, providing rules for creating special-ops characters and presenting high-stakes missions across various periods. Players can expect intense scenarios and a deeper dive into the hidden conflicts that have shaped the world.
There’s a quickstart guide available to anyone who follows the project.
