NEON have just released a bold new poster for upcoming Stephen King adaptation The Monkey, ahead of the full trailer release next week.
The poster’s text reads “everybody dies. And that’s f*cked up” along with a close-up of the infamous monkey in question looking creepy-as-all-get-out in the dark.
King fans can look forward to this latest NEON collaboration with Osgood Perkins (Longlegs), for the short story adaptation that promises to bring some good old-fashioned horror fun to cinemas near you.
To refresh your memory ahead of the full trailer release, here’s the teaser from earlier this year:
The Monkey will star Theo James (The White Lotus), Tatiana Maslany (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law), Elijah Wood (The Lord Of The Rings), Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth), Colin O’Brien (Wonka), Rohan Campbell (The Hardy Boys) and Sarah Levy (Schitt’s Creek).
James Wan is also on board as producer. Check out the poster below:
As a King fan, I know this short story well, and from the limited amount I’ve seen so far, I’m really excited at the prospect of this being made into a film.
And you’ll be able to (gently gently) catch The Monkey (if you want to) when it hits cinemas on 21st February 2025.
What do you think of the new creepy poster for The Monkey – and will you be watching when this is released in cinemas next year? Let me know in the comments!
