An explosive new trailer for season 2 of dystopian sci-fi mystery thriller Silo has just dropped from Apple TV+, and it looks like sh*t’s getting real for the silo residents.
The show stars Rebecca Ferguson and is based on Hugh Howey’s novel series, following a large community of people who are stuck underground in a silo, apparently for their own protection.
Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built, and those who try to find out face fatal consequences.
Throughout season one, the secrets of the silo slowly revealed themselves, but the finale left audiences with more questions than answers. Hopefully season two will be just as thrilling a watch, and we’ll start to work out more of just what is going on here (or, for those impatient enough, I guess you can always read the book).
Ferguson plays Juliette, “an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
Ferguson has previously been quoting saying: “Season 2 is dark. It’s a bonkers exciting season. It is huge, man.”
Can’t wait. Check out the trailer below:
And Silo will be released on Apple TV+ on 15th November.
