Lenore has been both dead and gone for seven years. In January, the cute little dead girl will return for a three-issue series, The Time War.
We can expect it to be weird.
Lenore and her companions find themselves reunited after a journey through all of time, only to face a vengeful army of Time Goats from the future. Their past actions, involving the consumption of three time-traveling goats and an encounter with a demonic pickle hat, have led to this ultimate showdown. Now, they must make a final stand against these enraged creatures seeking retribution.
Roman Dirge, who wrote and illustrated, noted;
My main obsession in life, other than video games, cats, and Mexican food, is sci-fi. My favorite sub genre of sci-fi is time travel. So, I thought, “Hey, what if I combine Lenore with that thing I love?”, leading to the Time Goats saga. Just be glad it wasn’t a 4 issue series about Lenore eating Mexican food while petting cats that are somehow playing video games with their little paw paws.”
Dirge has not been idle all this time, and “I Can Count to 10” which pretends to be a child’s math book and looks hilarious, came out this month.

Titan Comics will publish. Retailers can find “Lenore: The Time War Issue #1” in Diamond Previews for November 2024, while UK and European readers can pre-order copies from Forbidden Planet.
