Critical Role, the renowned Dungeons & Dragons actual play company, is embarking on a global tour in 2025 to celebrate its 10th anniversary. In partnership with AEG Presents and Frontier Touring, the tour will span five cities across the United States and Australia, with shows scheduled between April and October.
We’re told there’s more to come, and more announcements are planned.
The 2025 tour marks a significant milestone for the company, showcasing its growth and impact on tabletop gaming and entertainment. The tour will include stops in Chicago, Sydney, Melbourne, Fishers (near Indianapolis), and New York City, offering fans worldwide a chance to experience Critical Role’s unique blend of storytelling and live performance.
Critical Role’s 2025 tour will feature unique live shows in each city, with the Australian performances sharing a loose narrative connection. The founding cast, including Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Marisha Ray, Taliesin Jaffe, Travis Willingham, Sam Riegel, Laura Bailey, and Liam O’Brien, will weave new stories within the world of Exandria.

The tour kicks off in Chicago on April 10th, followed by Sydney on June 19th, Melbourne on June 25th, Fishers on August 2nd, and concludes in New York City on October 7th.
CHICAGO LIVE SHOW
- What: A live one-shot, where the audience will vote for which of the original main campaign characters the founding members of Critical Role will play for the evening, with Matthew Mercer leading the story as Game Master. The founding cast will also attend C2E2 for a weekend of signings, photo ops, and a panel.

Comedian and musician Tom Cardy will emcee both events. Two cities, one overarching story, and familiar faces in new combinations await!

The weekend following, the founders will attend New York Comic Con for signings, photo ops, and a panel.
