In true Spooktober style, we have yet another horror-themed art poster for you today, this time for Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining entitled The Ghosts of the Overlook, from artist Kris Miklos.
The fine art giclee print poster is a limited edition of 150, with a gorgeous black and white variant running to just 100 copies. Both are available at just $60, which is a steal if you ask me.
Celebrating one of the most iconic horror movies of all time, I think these posters are exceptionally cool, although I think I prefer the black and white variant, myself. Iono, there’s just something about it.
Either way, I love the level of detail in this poster, with Jack Nicolson’s character, Jack Torrence, right in the centre and seemingly having a ball with all of his ghostly friends.
Saying that, I can’t keep buying The Shining posters – I actually did buy the creepy glow-in-the-dark Grady twins already this month!
Which variant of The Ghosts of the Overlook, from artist Kris Miklos do you prefer? Have your say in the comments – would love to hear from you!
