In the Marvel Universe, symbiotes are an alien species of amorphous, sentient creatures. They need to bond with a host (usually a living being) to survive. Spider-man villain turned anti-hero Venom is one.
EMP’s Venom Christmas sweater, I think, is made even better with Venom: The Last Dance running in cinemas right now. The mental image of Venom’s face emerging from Eddie’s chest, or anyone’s chest, is all too ready, and that’s exactly what’s going on here!
The Christmas sweater is available from S through to XXL, knitted, with a round neck, ribbed cuffs, and hem. EMP are calling the sweater Face and says it is their exclusive.
It’s 100% polyacrylic, which means it’s not wool but is machine washable.
Symbiote Santa
The symbiote’s form began to solidify, taking on the shape of a portly man with a flowing white beard and a crimson suit. Its eyes, however, were not the twinkling blue of a jolly Santa but burning pools of malevolent red.
“Merry Christmas,” the symbiote-Santa rasped, its voice a distorted echo of Eddie’s own. “I’m here to deliver your presents…and your worst nightmares.”
If it’s possible to imagine Venom’s face morphing out from your chest, then it’s possible to follow me down the dark rabbit hole of a Symbiote Santa as an unlikely Marvel unique character.
