Hi folks, it’s Scotland Loves Anime week in Edinburgh. All week, we’ve been out late and reviewing (sometimes premieres) until the wee hours. What does that mean for our RPG coverage? Let’s find out!
- Mongoose Publishing has released their annual write-up (already!).
- Hasbro’s latest report shows a decline in D&D.
- The first official supplement to Blades in the Dark is out.
- We’re knee-deep into Krampus content already.
Following on from that cheeky Krampus comment – have you ever run or played in a seasonal one-off game? A spooky adventure for Halloween, perhaps? A festive one for the end of the year? Heck, has anyone played a Valentine’s Day-themed adventure?
As I write this, the AWN SUM magnetometer has flagged a yellow alert for possible geomagnetic activity. That means aurora are possible but unlikely. It’s been a year for the Northern Lights, but even if your local gaming group is prone to seasonal one-shots, I bet they’ve not tied their gaming to solar flare activity.
On with the news!
