Do you need more dice? Do you want more dice? What about adding a d9, d11, d13, d15, d17 and d19 to your collection?
Impact! Miniatures suggest these odd dice could be cursed as a d19, for example, can never roll a 20. There’s still time to catch the funded project on Kickstarter, but you’ll have to be quick.
Impact! Miniatures say the dice are as “fair as possible” given that they have got an odd number of sides, each one created by someone trained to work with geometric design.
The packs include six dice, which are the aforementioned d9, d11, d13, d15, d17 and d19 and there are six colours to go with as well. The Kickstarter will be cheaper than the expected retail price.
However, there more options; the ‘seriously cursed’ dice pack adds a d5 and d7, while the ‘mother of all curses’ brings the d3 and d21.
“Cursed Dice” are not Impact! Miniatures first campaign. In fact, it’s their 55th!
These odd dice are all new molds and modified designs by Impact! We’ve learned from our attempts to make odd sided dice in the past and these dice are brand new designs to make sure the dice stop faster by being larger and designed to have better defined stopping surfaces. The new designs are also easier to read with larger fonts and better extras to show you the top value being rolled.
Backers at $12, which is about £10 these days, get one cursed pack of the six core colours. Alternatively, there’s a $12 tier for the same dice six times over.
As a curveball, there’s also a $12 tier for the new Dungeon Crawl Classics dice on offer.
At $16, backers grow to the ‘seriously cursed’ for the 8-dice set. $20 unlocks the ‘Mother of All Curses’ for 10-dice.
The $65 tier is popular, offering all the core six dice in all six colours for 36 dice. The top tier is $199, which unlocks 153 dice but does not come with a dice bag.
The catch? You’v only until the 15th to pounce!
