Universal have just dropped the first teaser trailer for the live-action remake of How to Train Your Dragon – and unexpectedly early!
For a teaser trailer, it does the job well; shows us what to expect for the look of the film – and more importantly, the dragons! And from what I’ve seen, I think fans will be happy, as it’s stayed true to the beloved animated series (yes, Toothless looks like Toothless).
We also get to see Nico Parker in the role as Astrid, and I have no complaints about that, either! Seems Totally Normal. Although… it’s hard to tell right now whether the movie will be a shot-by-shot copy of the original, just in live action. Time will tell!

Directed by Dean DeBlois, the film will also star Julian Dennison (Deadpool 2), Gabriel Howell (Bodies), Bronwyn James (Wicked), Harry Trevaldwyn (Smothered), Ruth Codd (The Midnight Club), BAFTA nominee Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Murray McArthur (Game of Thrones).
