Production has now begun on Fallout season two, and to celebrate, Walter Goggins has shared a behind-the-scenes look of him getting into his character prosthetics to become The Ghoul.
The actor posted the image along with the caption: “Back in the saddle… #Deux. Gatdamn it feels good to slip on this skin. I do this shit for the love of the Game.”
I’m also super excited to learn that Macauley Culkin has joined the cast for season two! In a recurring role, apparently.
Check out the image from Goggins below:
Fallout explores the story of “haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them.”
Based on the popular video game of the same name, the world of Fallout transports viewers to “one where the future envisioned by Americans in the late 1940s explodes upon itself through a nuclear war in 2077.
“In Fallout, the harshness of the wasteland is set against the previous generation’s utopian idea of a better world through nuclear energy. It is serious in tone, yet sprinkled with moments of ironic humor and B-movie-nuclear-fantasies.”
The show comes from the creators of Westworld, Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten is Maximus, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul as well as well as Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
We’ll have more info on Fallout season two… when we have it! No promises, but watch this space – as we’re bound to be hearing all about it soon enough!
