It’s worse than I thought! When I first saw DarkSeed Creations’ Christmas stockings I was reminded of the human skin-covered Necronomicon from the Evil Dead series.

Oh no. DarkSeed calls these Ed Gein-style Christmas stockings. Gein, aka The Butcher of Plainfield was a real person and an American serial killer. Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and even The Silence of the Lambs are, in part, based on him and his horrors. Ed Gein is NOT a Google to do lightly.
I’m writing this find up on December 11th and DarkSeed say they’ll dispatch the human face Christmas stockings within 5 to 7 business days.
I’m in Scotland and, mixed news, these horrors won’t ship to the UK. I’m safe but you might not be.
Who would buy these ghoulish terrors to hang by the fireplace? Well, DarkSeed Creations get high marks in the Etsy system and these stockings are listed as “In Demand” with several purchases in the last 24 hours.
The kicker? On request, you can personalise these corpses with whichever name you want!
How did I notice these? I’m innocent, I swear! The Etsy site is one I track for Geek Native and I can cite these demon teddies from 10 years ago as evidence!
