Maskwitches of Forgotten Doggerland psychedelic TTRPG transports players to the Mesolithic era, specifically to Doggerland. This now-submerged landmass once connected Britain to continental Europe. Imagine a world of shamanistic magic, forgotten rituals, and encounters with strange creatures, all set against the backdrop of a lost world swallowed by the sea.
The redux edition of Maskwitches uses elaborate sets, props, models and photography to help generate the odd setting.
Now, Simon Proctor, a friend of Handiwork Games who publishes the setting, has coded a mask generator. All you need to do is click buttons, and various mask parts, including the background, will randomly shuffle.
When you’re ready, if you have the ink, you can hit the print button to start up your printer dialogue screen. Is there a modern alternative to using ritual magic to battle a terrible and inhuman foe? It might be the printer ritual to get the evil device to work.
You can whisk up visuals for NPCs or even PCs with the online app. In the game, which uses The Silver Road rules, characters are witches who can trade their masks or change them, which also swaps around powers.
