Previously, we’ve been able to share lists from DriveThruRPG on which products sold the best on the giant RPG store and what sold the best of those published this year.
There are plenty of surprises in the list and no doubt lots to scratch heads at, but we have more data. In this filter of RPG goodness, we have got a list of the year’s top selling Roll20 products.
DriveThruRPG Top Roll20 Sellers of 2024
The assumption is that this excludes Roll20’s own marketplace but as previous lists have revealed – we don’t get any explanation, just the data. Perhaps, though, this list sits a bit more closely with expectations.
- D&D Players Handbook 2024
- Rolemaster Treasure Law (RMU)
- Danger Gal Dossier
- Alien – The Roleplaying Game
- Cyberpunk RED
- Marvel Multiverse RPG: Enter: Hydra
- Dragonbane Core Set
- Esper Genesis: Fall of the Eos Keldor
- Stewpot Roll20 Quickstart
- Armorsmith’s Handbook
It’s interesting to see Marvel’s Enter Hydra without the core rules, but as we know from years of doing this, strange things happen. Players sometimes want rules of their own, but I don’t know Roll20’s rules well enough to know whether the GM needs to buy the module.
I think it’s also worth pointing out that Evil Hat Productions’ Stewport Quickstart is currently free. How did it count as a ” seller “if it’s always been free? But perhaps free Roll20 modules are so rare that this list isn’t freebie filtered.
