Infinite Statue teamed up with Kaustic Plastik to pay homage to Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau‘s 1922 horror film Nosferatu.
It’s a film that deserves a tribute, and it is well-timed because a remake, which resident horror Bronwen has been covering, is hitting the silver screen. In the remake, we’ll have Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok
Max Schreck played the vampire in the 1922 film. The Carpathian warrior was transformed into the blood-hungry monster by Belial, a minion of Satan.
This incredibly detailed 1:4 scale Nosferatu will be on sale at Sideshow Collectibles, but all you can do now is join the waitlist. The collaborating companies haven’t even decided how many models will be made.
The statue is 61cm tall, 22.5cm wide and 22.5cm deep. The sculpture was crafted by Danko and painted by Dario Barbera. Sideshow says;
The coloring of the statue was done by hand, using advanced techniques to achieve shades and hues that perfectly capture the essence of the character. The shadows and highlights have been worked on to give the statue an eerie and realistic look.
As a handcrafted work and the first of its kind, in this 1:4 Plus Format scale, the availability of Nosferatu Plus Format Statue is extremely limited. Each piece is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, guaranteeing its uniqueness and value over time.
