Earlier, thanks to the team at Roll20/DMsGuild, we published the best selling products of 2024. It was an interesting list, with golden oldies like The Dungeon Masters’s Guide (first edition) making the cut.
But what happens if we restrict the top sellers list to just D&D products published this year? We could do that for DriveThruRPG, and the good news is that we can do that for the DMsGuild, too!
DMsGuild Top Sellers (2024 release date) of 2024
- Frontiers of Eberron: Quickstone by Keith Baker, Imogen Gingell, and Visionary Production and Design.
- Ezmeralda’s Guide to Ravenloft by Jack Weighill, Christian Zeuch, and Hiten Dave.
- Subclasses Revivified by Kayla Bayens, Beeba 17 (“Bee”), Stuart Broz, Ashton Duncan, Jeremy Forbing, V.J. Harris, Fil Kearney, Sarah Madsen, J.D. Mills, Tomas Gimenez Rioja, David N. Ross, Jonathan Connor Self, Eric W.A. Tkachuk, and Sebastian Yūe.
- There’s Something Wrong with Santa – Adventure by Jeff Stevens Games and Jeff C. Stevens.
- Greyhawk Expanded: A Player’s Guide to Oerik by RVN Creative Studios.
- Tessa Presents 82 Maps for Planescape: Turn of Fortune’s Wheel by Tessa Morecroft.
- Bastions of Ravnica Wizardly Warehouse Productions, Eric W.A Tkachuk, James G. Wright, Darian Zwaan, Thayen Wilson, and Joel Toews.
- Greyhawk Campaign Guide by Joseph Bloch.
- Vecna Eve of Ruin: Chapter 2 – Web’s Edge Battlemap by Heroic Maps.
- Tessa Presents 56 Maps for Vecna: Eve of Ruin by Tessa Morecroft.
We’ve seen the first two before and in the overall best seller list. As it happens, both are about official D&D settings – Eberron and Ravenloft. That sets up a trend, as we also see Greyhawk, Ravnica, and Planescape on the list.
The Planescape title is some maps by Tessa Morecroft, who appears twice, the second time with an Eve of Ruin product. That’s a partner to another official Wizards of the Coast title.
