The trailer has just dropped for Netflix‘s new comedy film Kinda Pregnant, starring Amy Schumer as a jealous friend of pregnant people who decides to fake her own pregnancy by wearing a synthetic baby bump.
It’s an interesting yet cringeworthy premise, from a screenplay co-written by Schumer and Julie Paiva – and the trailer shows Schumer’s character Lainy getting involved in all kinds of horrifying/hilarious scenarios.
According to the synopsis:
The new Happy Madison film by The Out-Laws director Tyler Spindel, written by Amy Schumer & Julie Paiva, stars the comedian as Lainy, a woman who gets so jealous of her best friend’s pregnancy that she starts to wear a fake baby bump of her own. Of course, hijinks ensue — but also… love?
