Hey, my dude, do you like xenomorphs? The thrill of the Alien movies? Maybe even playing some of the games? In that case, would you like to fully immerse yourself in a hostile environment which pits you against some tricksy, terrifying xenomorphs – and facehuggers – who are just out to get you?
Well, you’re in luck! The trailer for Alien: Rogue Incursion has just dropped from Meta Quest, and it looks intense and like something I personally couldn’t cope with.
Alien: Rogue Incursion comes in the form of a single-player VR game where you’ll find yourself fully immersed in the dangerous and horrifying world of Alien – featuring an original story focusing rogue Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks, voiced by Andia Winslow.
Want to know more? Here’s the official description:
An unbreakable ex-Colonial Marine, on a dangerous mission that brings her to the uncharted planet Purdan, and the secrets hiding beneath its surface. With her sentient AI companion, Davis 01, Zula must fight her way to the heart of the infested Gemini Exoplanet Solutions research facility.
There she will need to survive deadly attacks from the most cunning Xenomorphs ever encountered and discover new horrors and threats that once unleashed could spell the end for humankind.

Now, I love my Meta Quest. I adore (almost all of) the Alien movies. Could I play Alien: Isolation on the PS4? Just about, yes. I was stressed the entire time and screamed at the screen more than I probably should have.
That’s why… I think when it comes to Alien: Rogue Incursion, I AM OUT! No, thank you. Saying that, I’ve watched friends playing another Alien-based VR game, and have openly laughed at them losing their sh*t when a xenomorph has come out of nowhere.
But, I’m sorry, it can’t be me playing this game. I’ll stick to BeatSaber, thanks.
