Prezzybox had a few shops in the UK and a website selling gifts. It was a bit geeky and leaned towards ‘gifts for her’. However, the brand and site has been merged into Menkind.
Menkind and Prezzybox had been run by the same team for a while and this is a cost-cutting and brand-building exercise. Menkind began in 2001, selling Star Wars and geeky Christmas gifts. It’s owned by Gift Universe Group which, nicely, is owned by its employees.
Scary? There’s a coupon code that’s valid until March 4th – PBMK15 – that gets 15% off orders over £30. That deal is designed to cushion the shock to Prezzybox customers.
Customers who have Prezzybox orders already placed can still track their delivery progress and there’s a FAQ on the date of Prezzybox. The page reassures people that they can still return Prezzybox purchases to Menkind if there’s a problem, but it also notes that Prezzybox order histories have been lost.
