Tales of Ereden is a British indie publisher on Kickstarter right now with Fate of the Stormwailer.
On offer is a 140+ page 5e campaign, a region map of the Wildwinds, 25+ town and battle maps and over 20 pieces of original art.
The Stormwailer is a giant, and his power causes strange weather, but, of course, there’s a catch. Geek Native has a preview to show below, and I talked to John Non about the game, but first, here’s the Kickstarter pitch.
The Fate of the Stormwailer unlocks to Kickstarter backers at the £12 tier. Before that, at just £8, backers are rewarded with the prequel, Ascent of the Nimipeel.

Explore the entire region of Wildwinds and discover an ancient giant causing weird, magical storms. A villain has descended from the skies to seek control of its power.
Is the adventure a world setting? Can it fit in any D&D setting?
Absolutely! Though it has backgrounds connected to its border regions, Wildwinds can be placed in your own worlds easily.
What’s the tone of the adventure?
Kind of a mystery and sense of looming danger. The world is your oyster kind of thing!
What’s your favourite encounter in “Fate of the Stormwailer”
There’s a faction holed up in Murky Shack planning to take over one of the Twin cities. Their secret weapon is a thunderous owlbear that they mistake for Stormwailer. It is a great hook to lead adventurers to knowing who or what Stormwailer truly is.

Welcome to the vast region of Wildwinds, home to exotic plants and creatures of enchanting beauty and untamable force. One such creature is Nomother, a gentle giant who lives atop Wailing Peak. Whenever Nomother wails, a heavy downpour occurs, thus he becomes more known as the Stormwailer. To soothe the wailing giant, a sea bard would play him the music of the seas using a magical pan flute called Tidecaller. A dark day came when an evil giant arrived at Wailing Peak to take away Stormwailer. Though Stormwailer disappeared, his wails did not. Weird, magical storms are occuring all over Wildwinds and are getting worse! Heroes, come and decide the fate of the whole region and Stormwailer!
