Italian publisher Narrattiva is a few Euros away from funding a chain-journalling game called The Find.
The Find is a chain journalling game as once one player has finished, the diary they’ve created is passed on to a friend.
Players need a notepad, poker cards, pens and paper. The cards are used to determine what happens. The suite of Spades is the nasty one and the third Spade picked will end the game for that player.
The game is about 30 pages and has four character booklets including one called “The Archaeologist” which seems appropriate but also one called “The Error” which seems a bit freaky.
The Find is a chain-journaling multiplayer experience inspired by films like Hellraiser and Jumanji, where the arrival of a mysterious object will drastically change the lives of the protagonists. Every step is taken in the shadow of impending doom, yet driven by hope, curiosity, or obsession.
Backers at €12 get a digital copy of The Find core rules and four character booklets.
At €25, but with shipping restricted to certain countries, there’s those digital copies and the physical copy of The Find Starter Pack. The pitch story promises more for this tier and adds the booklets and a folder for them.
Bonus booklets are added at €35 and a limited edition sculpture at €100.
The campaign runs until the 3rd. The digital tier is expected to ship this June, and the physical deliveries will be in September.
