Last month, Geek Native got an early look at the excellent art in Hellborn Descended. Then the quickstart came out as a Pay What You Want.
Now the Kickstarter is out, funded and will run until May 1st.
Hellborn Descended is a mix of Hazbin Hotel and Cyberpunk RED. Publisher Studio Hex call it a ‘combat RPG’. It’s not a skirmish game.
The system uses 3d6, advantages and disadvantages to add to one of Flesh, Skin, Heart, Mind and Soul stats.
The setting is a modern hell, with cars, skyscrapers and guns. Characters are evil mercenaries with access to Malefica powers.
Hellborn Descended is a demonic Tabletop Role-Playing Game, where players take on the role of demons, sinners, and fallen angels working together as mercenaries to attain wealth, fame, and power in a modern Hell, where mankind’s worse aspects and Hell’s all-destroying nature combine to create a true urban hellscape.
Backers get their name in the credits of Hellborn Descended for a pledge of €5 and the digital version of the RPG at €25.
The physical form of Hellborn Descended unlocks at €50, along with an exclusive to Kickstarter backers’ adventure.
At €60, backers get the rule book, the exclusive adventure, print and cut bookmarks and get to make a new power, perk or infernal artifact.
The next tier is a jump up. At €170, there’s also a sticker sheet and an A3 poster, and backers get three copies of the core rules in print.
Rewards are slated for June this year, except the top tier ,which is half sold out and slated for August.
