Over at IMDB you can now find a page for Wrath of the Titans. In fact, it’s up 27% on IMDB’s MOVIEmeter.
Just to be clear, Wrath of the Titans is the sequel to the latest Clash of the Titans. This is a movie I’m surprised they made – despite Clash of the Titans being quite successful in the box office.
Clash of the Titans was a remake of a perfectly cheesy 1980s movie and many geeks felt they got it all wrong.
There will be changes. There’s a new director in the form of Jonathan Liebseman and Javier Bardem comes in as the god Ares while James Franco plays Poseidon‘s son Agenor. We’ll also see Sam Worthington coming back as Perseus, along with Gemma Arteton as Io, Ralph Fiennes as Hades and Liam Neeson as Zeus.
It’s Lian Neeson who’s been talking. He says Wrath of the Titans starts to record in March 2011, in 3D even though the script isn’t finished yet.
Am I being harsh on Clash of the Titans? Or did you enjoy the original and like the remake just as much?
