Outgunned is an award-winning RPG with a focus on cinematic adventure. The next book out in the series is Outgunned Superheros, and it seems that publisher Two Little Mice is even marketing it with a superhero marketing theme as the campaign has phases.

Phase 1 of the Outgunned Superheros is the free-to-download Quickstart. That 71-page download is now out, but rather than free, it’s marked as Pay What You Want, and I’d like to argue that it’s not the same as free. However, if you want it as a freebie, then it’s yours for no cost.
The download comes with the fully playable Under Attack one-shot; you don’t need the core Outgunned RPG to play it. In fact, Outgunned Superheros is a standalone game powered by the Director’s Cut system.

Outgunned Superheros (OGS) will introduce 10 roles, each one matching a specific superpower – for example, think ‘The Sorcerer’ or ‘The Armoured Hero’ and you might be imaging a favourite superhero and an OGS role.
In the Director’s Cut system, superpowers are treated as a powerful variant of Feats. The game also brings along its own superhero-appropriate standard Feats.
Power replaces Adrenaline in a change to the usual rules and is a resource that players can spend on special actions.

There’s a crowdfunding campaign expected on BackerKit for Outgunned Superheros, and we think Two Little Mice are taking that to BackerKit rather than Kickstarter.
