Are Roll20 resting on their laurels with all these reports of Sigil, D&D’s VTT failing? No. Marketing is as hot as ever!

The virtual tabletop platform has announced a promotion for the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons adventure anthology, Dragon Delves. Customers who pre-order the digital version of the book on Roll20 will receive additional digital content at no extra cost.
This bonus content, “Roll20’s Delver’s Hoard,” is being developed in collaboration with several third-party creators from the Roll20 Marketplace and DMsGuild. The offer includes digital assets such as adventures, maps, tokens, and tools designed for the Roll20 platform.
The distribution of the bonus content will occur in stages. Starting from the announcement date and continuing every two weeks until the book’s scheduled release on July 8th, new items will be added to the hoard.
Customers who pre-order Dragon Delves on Roll20 will receive the bonus item available at the time of their order and all subsequent items released as part of the promotion. Each bonus item will be available for two weeks before being replaced by the next. It also means those who can pre-order now, those with money in the bank, will get more freebies than those saving up for launch day.
According to Roll20, the bonus content will be automatically added to the accounts of eligible customers, including those who had already pre-ordered Dragon Delves before this announcement.
The creators contributing to the Delver’s Hoard include:
- Anne Gregerson
- Ame Kuma Maps
- Baldman Games
- Domille
- Sunset Dragon
- DMDave
This initiative provides supplementary digital materials for users who purchase the upcoming Dragon Delves anthology through the Roll20 platform.
