Check out “(S)KiDS,” created by the viral alt-rock group Rare Americans! Set in “The City of Champions,” this full-length punk rock musical film follows 3 teens through their final year of high school. Crafted over 3 years from the band’s 22-song concept album with visuals by Solis Animation, it’s jam-packed with emotion, action, mystery, and a shitload of good music.
(S)KiDS is Rare American’s biggest project to date, set in 1993 and follows our 3 teens as they unearth a dark truth about the school principal.
Rare Americans identify as “animated storytellers focused on the real and raw,” crafting music that resonates with the underdogs and anyone holding onto hope amidst struggle. As a fiercely independent group, they cultivate a scene for those wrestling with life’s difficulties. Their journey over the last six years includes releasing six albums, achieving over 500 million streams, completing sold-out tours in North America and Europe, and receiving a Juno nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year (Canada’s equivalent to a Grammy). Despite these accomplishments, the band believes they are “just hitting our stride.”

This is a masterpiece, I cried so hard with Billy and Corey. I would pay so much to see it in theaters or get a sequel or at least an epilogue
