Fans of the hit video game franchise and the new Netflix animated series Devil May Cry can soon own a piece of its high-octane world.
Mondo Music, in collaboration with Netflix Music, has announced the release of the DEVIL MAY CRY – Soundtrack from the Netflix Series on vinyl.
The soundtrack promises to capture the series’ explosive action, which follows the demon hunter Dante as he battles forces threatening to unleash Hell on Earth. The music features a blistering nü-metal soundscape, helmed primarily by electronic music duo Power Glove, known for their retro-futuristic synthwave style. Power Glove contributes original songs as well as covers from the original Devil May Cry video game series.
Adding to the impressive lineup, the soundtrack features score elements composed by Alex Seaver (aka Mako) and includes a brand-new original track, “Afterlife,” performed by the multi-platinum rock band Evanescence.
This double LP set is pressed on 2x 140-gram “Devil Trigger Black” vinyl, reflecting the series’ dark and stylish aesthetic. It comes housed in gatefold packaging adorned with original artwork by Ayan De Choudhury.
The Netflix animated series, brought to life by Capcom, showrunner Adi Shankar, and Studio Mir, features a talented voice cast including Johnny Yong Bosch reprising his role as Dante, alongside Scout Taylor-Compton (Mary), Hoon Lee (White Rabbit), the late Kevin Conroy (VP Baines), and Chris Coppola (Enzo).
The DEVIL MAY CRY – Soundtrack from the Netflix Series 2xLP is now available for pre-order exclusively at the Mondo Shop online. This release offers fans a tangible way to experience the thrilling sounds of Dante’s latest adventure.
