London’s gaming convention, Dragonmeet, will run Call to Adventure on the 26th in Kensington Town Hall.

The event is free, and every effort has been made to make it accessible. However, there’s a catch; the event has sold out.
Organiser John Dodd wrote on Facebook to say;
As of a few minutes ago, Dragonmeet: Call to Adventure reached the safe numbers limit for Kensington Town Hall and we have had to pause ticket sales for the event at this time. We will be in touch early next week to confirm if we are able to increase the number of tickets available to the event and apologise for any inconvenience.
In a post on the Dragonmeet site, the convention explains the background of the event;
It was 18 months ago when we first started working with the City of Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, at the time, it was a small project to get games into the London libraries and introduce younger people into the benefits of gaming.”
Companies like Monte Cook Games and RP Haven have been involved, with Sarah Newman, Executive Director of Children’s Services, and Lucy Gill, the Libraries lead, for both the City of Westminster and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea get special shoutouts.
The event will have traders with game demos, roleplaying games, wargames, board games and a handful of brave volunteers. There’s also a scavenger hunt and a family-friendly zone.
