DISCLAIMER: Geek Native received a free review copy of Street Fighter 6 Limited Edition Makeup Collection from Game Beauty for the purposes of writing this review.

As a makeup fan, and a gamer, I was absolutely over the moon when I received the absolutely stunning Street Fighter 6 Limited Edition Makeup Collection from Game Beauty.
I felt like one of the luckiest people in the world, to be given something so absolutely flawless, and geeky, and awesome! So, I knew I had to do it justice, and do a proper deep-dive review into this amazing makeup collection.
Here’s the official description for the Street Fighter 6 makeup collection:
Get ready to K.O. with the motif palette for endless looks, a Juri lipstick to unleash your inner villain, a Lily blush for a touch of woodland charm, a Luke chameleon shadow that shifts with your every move, and a Chun-Li highlighter to shine brighter than a Spinning Bird Kick!
Believe me, I was totally ready. However, as a busy artist, student and blogger, it’s taken me a couple of weeks to properly try everything out – and I wanted to try it out properly in order to give it the review it absolutely deserves.
So, let’s get this review started!
Unboxing the Street Fighter 6 Limited Edition makeup collection – gift box
I received the gift box version of the collection (which you can find here) and unboxing it for the first time was an utter joy. It’s one of the prettiest makeup collections I’ve ever owned – and certainly the geekiest – and I’m not just saying that.
The cover has all of your favourite well-known characters from Street Fighter 6, and the box itself has two tiers; the top tier containing the Prismatic Pugilist eyeshadow palette and lipsticks, and a pull-out drawer underneath with the Chromatic Contender Eyeshadows, the Hue-Ligan Blushes, and the Hi-Lite Hitter Highlighters.

SO GOOD!

After I’ve had a little while to gaze in wonder, it was time to start actually trying some of it out! Now, I do want to cover each thing separately, but first let me show you some of the lewks I was able to achieve with this makeup collection.
Trying out so many looks whilst feeling like a badass
Because a) I felt hecka lucky to be sent such an awesome makeup kit to review, and b) I really wanted to give this review my all, I decided to do something a little different.
Each day I tried out a particularly out-there makeup look, I make my own fictional Street Fighter-inspired characters and recorded a little video of me posing and doing the character select moves you usually find in video games.
Because I’m weird like that.
It was overall a fun thing to do, and because I wasn’t forcing myself to try out multiple makeup looks within the space of a few hours, it didn’t feel like a lot of pressure.
I made a supercut at the end that you can view on the right.
I was able to put together some great looks using the wonderfully colourful choices provided. Probably my favourite was the rainbow-like style of Minerva Mischief, followed by Tiger Lily Terror using the pigment-rich greens.

Of course, these weren’t the only looks I tried out; I’ve now gone through all of the colours, and had some pretty ordinary day-to-day glam looks, too.
Anyway, here’s me as Minerva Mischief. I went for a combination of some of the brightest colours available to me, all of them matte.
I used highlighter, blush and the pinkest of the lip colours to really make her pop.
It was only later when I started on fighters like Tiger Lily Terror did I start on the Chromatic Contenders glitter shadows, which were just *chef’s kiss*.
But I want to go through each of these sets individually to give them the attention they deserve – starting with Prismatic Pugilist!
Prismatic Pugilist Makeup Palette

Firstly, the design on this palette is breathtaking, and when you open it up, you’re greeted with COLOUR, COLOUR, COLOUR! This is what I love in an eyeshadow palette. It feels like there’s so much beige and creams and browns and greys kickin’ about, but this has NONE OF THAT.
It’s exciting to see something so bold that you can absolutely embrace and get creative with. The shadows themselves are highly pigmented and are easy to apply. They haven’t crumbled or really left colourful dust under my eyes and on my cheeks like some shadows do (hence having to leave my foundation, concealer etc. to the very end).
I started to feel confident using this great palette, and with a mix of mattes and glitters, there’s plenty of options to create looks you can definitely kick some ass in. 10/10! And yes, I’d highly recommend.
Vibrant Victor Lipstick Bundle

These creamy, bright matte lipsticks are a variety of reds and pinks. They’re easy to apply, last a decent amount of time, and can really bring your whole look together.
My faves are probably the Zangiaf and the Ryu, just because those are the two colours I’d most naturally gravitate to with my regular look.
They’re highly pigmented, and although they’re matte they won’t dry out your skin – a huge win!
One thing I’d say if that I wish there was one or two more ‘plummy’ or darker shades, as goths like me love that kind of thing. But the Ryu still does the job well enough.
Chromatic Contender Chameleon glitter eyeshadows

These Chromatic Contender Chameleon glitter eyeshadows are one of the real standouts for me when it comes to this collection.
They’re duochrome, giving a kind of colour-shifting element to your look, and they’re also highly pigmented so that whether you’re wearing them on their own, or combined with matte shadow underneath, you’re look is really going to pop. Love, love, LOVE!
My favourites of the lot are the Blanka (the gorgeous green I used for Tiger Lily Terror’s lewk) and Deejay, an intense goldish hue. I honestly cannot get enough of these incredible shades, and I feel spoilt for choice.
Hue-Ligan Blush collection

I’ve never been a massive blush user (I like to joke that contouring and adding colour to my face aren’t really my thing, and once made a meme about the fact I more resemble one of the Engineers from Prometheus), but these had me reconsidering my life choices.
They’re so easy to apply, blend right into your skin without being overpowering, and I have to admit, I quite liked the way they looked. Even when using Cammy for Minerva’s look! It was out of my comfort zone, but at the same time I knew I looked good.
I’m a blush conversation – so thanks, Game Beauty!
Hi-Lite Hitter Highlighters

Finally, I was delighted when I realised this collection comes with highlighters. I love giving my pale skin a bit of extra sheen, and therefore my favourite out of these two is the Chun-Li for a touch of the ethereal. I had never seen a blue highlighter before, but fear not! It doesn’t actually make your skin blue.
It makes my skin all glowy and luminous. And when I’m feelin’ cute, I’ll wear Manon instead, especially if I want to be particularly girly and wear something pink or warmer toned (which isn’t that often, to be honest!).
Again, these creamy highlighters are so easy to blend into your skin, and now it feels like second nature.
My overall impressions of the Street Fighter 6 Limited Edition makeup collection
I am absolutely blown away by this makeup collection. It’s brilliantly packaged, everything looks and feels premium, and that’s before you even try it out.
I’m happy to say this collection has become my go-to when I get ready in the morning, and especially when I’m going out and want to feel particularly extra with something a bit more ‘out there’. It’s hardwearing, with long-lasting pigments and shadows that don’t crumble.
It’s also easy enough to remove at the end of the day.
You can check out the full collection right here on the official Game Beauty website.
