There’s always a good backstory to the creation of a superteam. There’s conflict – typically a misunderstanding – but then everything comes together nicely. When we’re talking about the creation of the Avengers we also have to consider the role of The Hulk. Will he be a hero from the outset or an anti-hero? It’s easy to imagine a Joss Whedon film where some of The Avengers try and cope with the Hulk.
Or could it be messier than that? Could we see conflict between the likes of Captain America and Ironman? Or Ironman and Thor? It’s hard to say but according to Thor actor, Chris Hemsworth, they will “beat each other up and try and form a team.”

What do you think? A causal comment? A suggestion the movie will be largely about the characters railing against one another only to conclude with the formation of The Avengers? Would that count as a “The Avengers” movie?
