My tiny flat is cluttered with Bleach and Nautro DVDs. Even though I don’t trust myself to start an MMO without getting addicted I’m very interested in NGame’s Pockie Ninja.
It’s just so odd. Have they confirmed they’ve got the license for these mega characters yet? I’ve seen speculation that they’re keeping mum about that… but that makes no sense, they must have the license. That’s one head scratch.
Now, thanks to these screenshots there’s more head scratching to do. Some of these images don’t look out of place for an MMO RPG at all. However, some of them do… they look more like a beat ’em up progress chart. Okay, sure, we know the focus of Pockie Ninja would be combat related but I’m now wondering whether NGames plan to merge two genres.
It’s been done before. Remember Gladius? What a great game from LucasArts. That was a Battle Chess style strategy beat ’em up wrapped up in an explore the world RPG-like enviorment. I wonder if that’s what we’re going to get here. Add MMO style chat.
