Dragon Age Legends is a Facebook RPG with a difference. You can sign up at their Facebook page and even apply for a beta pass – good luck with the latter, that opened today and the server is suffering from death.
What’s the difference between Dragon Age Legends and something like Endless Chaos or the old Tiny Adventures? Simple.
Playing Dragon Age Legends will let you unlock items for Dragon Age 2.

I like it because it reminds me of a traditional RPG. At the first blush the cut to the player behind the character stuck me as cheesy but I quickly changed my mind. It’s a real pointer to the social aspect of the game playing – not just the escapism. That’s exactly what draws me to traditional RPGs.
Speaking of traditional RPGs, it’s worth remembering that Green Ronin have the license for the “traditional” Dragon Age RPG. I hope they do really well off the launch of both Dragon Age Legends and Dragon Age 2.
