The trailer for the forthcoming Battle: Lost Angeles looks pretty cool.
It concludes by letting us know it’ll be a PG13 rated film. I’ve seen much of the internet snigger at this. The movie does look neat but it pitches itself as a gritty fight to survive. It implies there will be blood, death and gore.
As one YouTube comment said; “As long as a lot of stuff gets blown up and MIchelle ROdrgez kicks ET’s ass – I’m okay with PG13”.
Check it out:
The thing to keep in mind is that movie ratings (at least in the UK) are based on the content; are there drugs, sex or gore? The move rating doesn’t mean “this is a movie kids will like” or “this is a movie adults will like”. A good case in point is Arachnophobia. That got the PG rating in the UK.
The cast looks good for Battle: Lost Angeles. We’ve got Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Michael Peña, Ne-Yo, Ramon Rodriguez, Lucas Till, Noel Fisher, and Jim Parrack.
One for your “to watch list”?
