The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings CRPG videos

The Witcher was a computer RPG that I missed out on but friends still rave about. That’s why interested in publisher CD Projekt‘s The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings CRPG due out in the third week of May.

Rather nicely, Distributor Namco Bandai and CD Projekt are keeping up up to date with some video snippets. They’ve just today made the combat trailer available to blogs like Geek Native and it looks like the first in a series.

I rather like the effect towards the end of the video where they’re explaining the benefits in mixing styles. There’s one scene where our hero throws a bomb, that emits a gas which he then ignites via a flame spell.

One of the first videos for the CRPG released to bloggers was a clever cinematic trailer called “Prison Break”. It’s well worth a watch.

Non-linear gameplay = non-linear tactics. Ooh! That gets my attention.
