I haven’t been able to watch any more of HBO’s Game of Thrones here in the UK since Geek Native’s Sky Atlantic preview review. If anyone knows a legal way to catch up in the UK, sans-Sky, do share with fellow geeks in the comments box below.
I recall the opening credits well. It wasn’t just that I was buzzing because I was getting to watch a Game of Thrones; they were good. I think I said at the time that they reminded me of Firefly in a way. You can check for yourself – am I way off?

I wasn’t the only one who really liked both the visuals and the music. We’ve started to get some exceptional covers.

And this one from Roger Lima at the freelance studio White Noise Labs. I think this is my favourite.
I don’t think either cover reminds me of Firefly. Each of them manage to have something of a Jeff Wayne sound to them, if you ask me.
