The Darkness is a comic from Top Cow and a spin off from Witchblade. It started back in 1996 and features a hitman called Jackie Estacado. On his 21st birthday is power manifests and he becomes the bearer of The Darkness.
The Darkness threatens many otherworldly powers who move against Jackie. Here’s the catch. The Darkness is an evil power and in this comic, when Jackie is our anti-hero, our villians are the forces of light.

The Darkness II game is a first person shooter. As you’d expect; there’s a twist. Your hands can be busy with guns… but you’ll still have your Darkness tentacles in which to terrorise people. The game is by 2K – the people behind Borderlands.
