Marvel have released an Android App. It’ll run on your Android phone or tablet – and keep in mind that the Kindle Fire is an Android tablet. The app also syncs with your Marvel account so any digital comics you’ve already bought for your iOS device will also be available for your Android.
The app’s picked up some early negative reviews because it does not seem to work to allow people on a yearly subscription to access their comics. The app is also powered by Comixology and yet does not accept Comixology account details. So although the apps are more or less the same if all your content is over at Comixology then you’ll not find it in your Marvel app.
I also spy numerous 1/5 star reviews from fans with Asus Transformer tabs running Honeycomb 3.2.1. The app works a treat on my HTC Senesation running 2.3.
A good incentive to give the app a try is the fairly generous collection of freebies that Marvel have bundled with it.
