Space trials have begun for the new fleet of Carriers in Battlestar Galactica Online. These are the largest and most “unique” ships players can own in the online game.
In game carriers are support and supply vessels that act as mobile outputs, supporting up to nine Strike ships and providing repair and recharge for friendly vessels. Carriers also provide tactical assistance by calling out enemy targets to fire on.
The testing phase will only to the end of February and is only open to players with characters of level 30 or higher. It’s a lottery to get into the test phase and you can sign up at the community forum.
At the end of the test phase, if the rollout continues, these ships will be open to all across all servers. It’s expected they’ll only be available for level 40 or higher and cost some 400,000 cubits and 90,000 merits.
