It’s fairly common for games to award pre-order customers with a few bonus items. The forthcoming MMORPG TERA (due out May) is no exception.
If you pre-order the Collector’s Edition from Play.com – and there may be other shops with similar deals – then not only do you qualify for head start access to the game but you get acces to a Regal Frostlion.
This is the only way to have Frostlion as a mount. They cannot be traded and have no value.
It turns out that people are rather interested in the Regal Frostlion. What is it? Where can I get one? How fast is it?
Well. We’ve already answered “where”. It’s only available through the pre-order. There are suggestions that it’ll have a speed of 280. Geek Native have tracked down the only two known pictures of the Regal Frostlion. The first comes via Frogster and the second the TERA wiki.
We have some teaser footage from Tera. It looks like a badass world; the big three – Teralith, Kumas and Ovoliths rate as scary.
Both pictures show a regal creature, far less scary than the mighty monsters – perhaps that’s part of the mount’s charm – along with harness. You might well get something of an Aslan or Narnian from both pictures; especially the white one. Alternatively, you could say this is lion meets goth.
