To finish off Star Wars Day is a rumour… a rumour with some backbone.
Screen Rant interviewed director Joe Johnston and discovered that he was trying to get George Lucas to make another Star Wars film. In particular, Johnston was trying to get permission to make a Star Wars film about Boba Fett.
Nothing was confirmed.
However, on the 2nd of May Lucasfilms registered a bunch of domain names. They used the brand protection company called Corporate Service Company. This might mean that they’re moving towards making, or considering, Star Wars 1313 as a project. It might also mean the rumour has enough teeth that brand protection is needed.
Registrations include the following (evidence and more evidence).

What’s so special about “1313”? Lucas does like to include numbers in his film titles, true. However, it’s worth noting that CT-1313 was onced used by Boba Fett as an alias.
