I’ve read the Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter book and its surprisingly good. Don’t get me wrong – it’s not a Game of Thrones. It is a book with a great mashup of a plot, even for Brit like myself, and the simple premise works well to keep the book “page candy”. It’s an easy, no brain, read.
The latest trailer is pretty good. It has some bite.
I wonder if the book was written, to order, because they wanted to do the film. As it turns out the film itself is spawning oppertunities. In London, to promote the release, the street artist Jim Vision has been called in to help with a “Flesh Blood Hunt” competition.
We’ve featured Jim’s street at before on Geek Native; this Alien art is stunning. The Fresh Blood Hunt competition should also result in another mural.
Artists (who stand to win a 17″ Mac Book Pro with Adobe CS6) have until May 30th have to enter their own design and then get to watch it come to life. The gallery of submissions is public too – and here are some of my faves.
