has announced that it has secured the rights to do a mange re-imagination of the hugely popular Gossip Girl series. Cecily von Ziegesar’s series follows the lives of girls at an posh private school in New York City and the HyeKyung Baek adaption will focus on Blair and Vanessa from the senior year.

HyeKyung Baek is a respected manga artist in South Korea who made her professional debut with Happy Spider and is probably best known for Bring It On!
